I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Since my hips went down a year ago, I have had limited to no ability to walk. Always excruciating pain. I have been almost completely limited to my bed. I need freedom!
My darling friend Jaq has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome too and like me and Izzy/Apocalyptic Kitten she has reached a point where her hips are so damaged she cannot get out of her home without a wheelchair. In America we have very very limited help from the government and medical system to access treatment and mobility aids. In Canada EDS is even more poorly understood. Please help my friend if you can spare anything at all. Or just watch her video and realize how fucked things are for so many people in similar situations.
